As a Senior Consultant with OnLocation, Mr. Holte has over eighteen years of economic analysis and energy modeling experience. He has particular expertise in energy demand analysis. As a Supervisory Economist with the Energy Information Administration (EIA), Mr. Holte was responsible for the development and implementation of an industrial sector energy model as a component of the National Energy Modeling System (NEMS). He has conducted analysis, modeling and forecasting of energy consumption in the residential, commercial, industrial, and transportation sectors. Presently, Mr. Holte is developing alternative demand responses to restructured electricity markets as part of the further development of POEMS and Tradelec. Mr. Holte has experience as a consultant to government and private clients in the areas of energy modeling, maritime transportation issues and computer programming. Mr. Holte has a B.S. in Mathematics and a M.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland.
